 校風不良、沒有傳統的學校，如何培育出有榮譽感、認同感的學生？當社會笑貧不笑娼，榮譽心又怎麼建立得起來？

在新竹縣的茶花展上，遇見老朋友。她曾任職西點軍校，後來因父母年老無人照顧，便放棄美國的終身教職，回台教書。她看到我，便一把將我拉住，有話要說。

原來她剛回國，不了解國內生態，研究所期末考時，採取榮譽制，沒監考。結果改卷子時，發現有一題大家錯的一樣，甚至一字不差。她懷疑有作弊，但是沒證據。

這一題只好作廢不計分，但是她氣不過，想在開學後，把學生叫到辦公室來口試。
